Her Story Uganda is a non-for-profit Newsroom that advocates for gender equity, equal representation of women in the media and women empowerment.
It creates innovative content for development while advocating for inclusion, equity and diversity by providing a safe environment for women to share their plight and experiences to motivate others without expecting judgments.
We use storytelling to instill empowering and inspiring messages to women and girls.
Our vision as an agent of change is to see more women and girls come out to issues that matter to them the most and freely express without fear of prejudice and take this as a cornerstone to raising their self-esteem
About Her Story
Her Story Uganda has been in existence since 2022. Female under representation in the media remains a big challenge towards gender equality. Women identities often disappear when referring to them.
