Her Story Foundation Uganda has been in existence since 2019. Female under representation in the media remains a big challenge towards gender equality. Women identities often disappear when referring to them. This has put a serious mark towards women representation in the media

Her Story disseminates information to women with intent to transform because Information is a catalyst of change.

We advocate for inclusion, equity and diversity by providing a safe environment for women to share their experiences to motivate others without expecting judgments. With the growing number of people accessing online platforms, more women are reached through digital media channels.

We break barriers by offering trainings and mentorship to female Journalists with skills and holistic needs to join and survive within the male dominated media industry
